Fees
At the University of South Carolina, all active sorority members must participate in their chapter's Greek Meal Plan, regardless of class schedules or work obligations. It is an ongoing financial commitment undertaken when any student pledges a sorority. Fees generated allow sororities to provide beautiful, well-staffed houses and delicious meals to hundreds of sisters across their chapters throughout the school year.
Recognizing that there are certain conditions related to food allergies which would require special accommodation, students may request a meal plan reduction or exemption via waiver from the University of South Carolina's Student Disability Resource Center (see SDRC link for requirements). Once processed, SDRC provides appropriate documentation to Chi Omega House Corp, who will make a determination as whether the student's needs can be accommodated or whether exemption is appropriate. If exempt, food costs (ONLY) are deducted from Greek Meal Plan fees. All other fees charged by the University under the "Greek Meal Plan Fee" line item will remain intact (including Chi Omega parlor fees, staff salaries, utilities, house maintenance and upkeep, and the University's administrative billing charges.)
Chi Omega Fees Per Semester:
Non-Resident Greek Meal Plan* - $1,585
Resident Greek Meal Plan* - $1,775
